Miniature Thermocouple with Miniature Socket

Miniature Thermocouples

  • High integrity construction suited to arduous operating conditions at temperatures from -200ºC to +1250ºC (The maximum operating temperature is dependant on diameter and environmental factors, further guidance is available here.)
  • Custom built to your specification and terminated in a choice of miniature thermocouple sockets rated to 220ºC, 350ºC or 650ºC
  • Alternatively, we have a large range of sensors available to buy online in various diameters and lengths
  • High accuracy and stability maintained throughout the operating life of the sensor
  • Fast response and high insulation resistance
  • Available in thermocouple types K, T, J, N, E, R, S & B with sheath diameters from 0.25mm to 1.0mm and lengths from a few millimetres to 200 metres or more dependent on the sheath diameter selected

INSULATED
Hot junction insulated from sheath. Gives floating output with typical insulation resistance in excess of 100 megohms

GROUNDED
Hot junction welded to sheath tip giving earthed output and faster response to temperature changes

EXPOSED
Fastest response mainly for the measurement of air temperature in ducts. Restricted to a maximum operating temperature of 600ºC
